Yes: The most painful part of the sinus surgery is actually the surgery to the septum
Ask your doctor if you are going to have septoplasty (surgery to fix your deviated septum). If yes, then it could be very painful.
Also, are you having balloon sinus surgery? if yes, this is less painful .
