What would cause excessive salivation after eating? I take Pepcid Complete after meals, but I doubt that's the cause of it. Someone told me it's probably just my body producing saliva to help aid in the digestion of the food I just ate.... any ideas?

Since the last 20 years, I've issues of bloating after a heavy or spicy meal which goes away after a good sleep at night. My liver is always normal in the ultrasound and so are the LFTs. Does it indicate my liver is normal but weak to digest food?
