What to do if i have really been worried about toxic shock syndrome?

Relax, probably: Toxic shock is very, emphasize very, severe, life-threatening infection. It is unlikely you would be able to type this question on a keyboard. Symptoms include very high fever (>103), rigors (not just chills) and very low blood pressure. Source may be a gynecologic infection as well as severe soft tissue infections. You get very sick, very quick with TSS.
