A member asked:

What to do if i have nf type 1 & i had one neurofibroma removed and the doctors said its non cancerous, but is it common?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This is usual: The vast majority of neurofibromas in neurofibromatosis patients are not cancer. Let your physician know about any lesions that grow fast, get large, or are painful.
