Confusing question: If you have had chickenpox, ever, you may at some point get shingles. Your husband cannot pass the shingles to you. Shingles is a reactivation of the varicella virus you already have in your body, hiding in nerve cells. If your immune system is weakened it may come out, otherwise don't worry about it.
