Unlikely: This age, disease and location makes it very unlikely to be Merkel cell cancer...also this disease is extremely rare..

Why Merkel cell Carc: Merkel cell carcinoma is a rare neoplasm.It is rarely suspected clinically unless it has a characteristic pink fleshy appearance of a Nodule which is growing pretty fast.Biopsy is the final proof. Without Biopsy it is hard to be sure about. So get it removed and you will find the answer,. The cancer would be unusual in a young person as this is a cancer mostly of the of the older people(>70 year)
