Throat feels bone dry even after drinking but mouth not dry and not thirsty. on penicillin atm for one swollen tonsil with pus. whats causing this?

Throat dryness: in the setting of treatment for tonsillitis--I suspect things will resolve with finishing the penicillin and drinking alot of fluids. need to look for the possibility of oral thrush--ie looking for white lacey area on tongue or inner cheeks. if so --see your doctor for treatment
