Started taking penicillin 6 days ago for supposed strep throat but throat is still very swollen and sore. Never had any other symptoms than throat?
I have a severely sore throat. Red, swollen and pain when swallowing. No nasal symptoms. Day 3/5 penicillin. No improvement whatsoever. Strepsils, andolex, iodine lozenzes and mybulen not helping for the pain. Please advise.
