How long does anaesthesia take to leave the body? i was under for 5hrs! i think i woke up yelling too and was very scared bad nerves afterward. thanks

General anesthesia: In 30 to 60 minutes you should be awake in the recovery room. It is very common and not unusual to wake up yelling and scared. Some anesthetic agents can cause amnesia for a short time before and after surgery. I would focus on recovering from the surgery and not the anesthetic issues. I hope your recovery is smooth and rapid.
