Vitamins: A good multivitamin is a good idea. It's like an insurance policy for when we don't eat right, don't sleep well, or are especially stressed. Go to a good store or get some guidance because the popular brands are typically very week and not helpful. You can take them as long as you wish.

None: Performance enhancing steroids and others will get you in trouble. Eat a variety of greens, fruits, vegetables. Load with carbs well before any endurance event. No vitamin pill will do you any good. There are thousands of beneficial molecules in food not found in any pill. Spend your money on something worthwhile.
