Vitamin A: Vitamin a supplements are usually safe. Excessive vitamin a theoretically can affect/hurt your liver. Patients with retinitis pigmentosa take mega-doses of vit a often without side effect. The best way to get your vitamins is through a natural, green leafy veggie diet.

Depends : If you have no liver disease and are not a smoker it is safe if you take at or near the rda- recommended daily amount. In smokers there is an increased risk of lung cancer.
