Constipation: You need to add fiber to diet and/or supplement, and should talk to you Dr about adding a mild laxative on a regular basis (like Miralax). Frequency of BMs is not the problem, it is the bleeding which says stool likely too hard.

Internal hemorrhoid : Hypothyroidism can cause slowed bowel activity, which can lead to hemerrhoids. Treating your thyroid condition, drinking adequate water and taking fiber may correct the problem. A stool softener may be helpful. Avoid stimulant laxatives. See your medical provider if you don't have regular non bloody bowel movements. Remember Gastro-colic reflex; if you eat, the colon should move .
