Should i be concerned? just began levothyroxine 2 weeks ago for hypothyroidism 25 mcg/day. body's still getting regulated, but my cycle got thrown off before i began treatment. i have now been bleeding heavily for 11 days with no signs of stopping?

I do not see any reason the thyroid medication would effect your current cycle bleeding. It would be wise to contact your doc or OBGYN with your bleeding so they can help you manage/stop it.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson about the need to contact your Gyne. To prevent anemia from blood loss, you should take oral iron and multivitamins. Wish you good health!
