Just began treatment: hypothyroidism. b4 treated low thyroid threw cycle off. body still regulating & been bleeding heavily 11 days. not concerned it's the medication - more concerned too low of dose. 25 mcg. waiting obgyn to reply - is it dangerous?

It depends on how heavy the bleeding is. If you feel dizzy, lose balance, look paler than usual, it would be advisable to go to the emergency department of a nearby hospital.

I doubt you are on adequate dose. Moreover, it takes at least 4 weeks for stabilizing thyroid blood level. I would have prescribed the dose based on TSH level
