Give us the numbers: Unless you give us the actual bilirubin values, we can not be very helpful. Total bilirubin level is all that matters...so do not worry about fraction like direct or indirect unless the bili level is >1.5 mg. Many people have slight elevation of bilirubin, which is harmless as long as the liver enzymes(SGOT/SGPT and Alkaline Phosphatase are not elevated.
