A Comprehensive Plan: Controlling Diabetes and hypertension can be challenging. Usually multiple doctor visits with sugar and blood pressure logs are necessary to achieve desired goals. A special diet and regular exercise are important. Medications are almost always necessary, and there are diabetes education resources available at the local clinic to educate on lifestyle changes necessary to take care of yourself.
