Retained stone: If, as you posted in another question, you have a retained stone in the cystic duct, the pain that you have could represent this complication, or from passage of retained stones into the common bile duct and subsequent blockage of the pancreatic duct leading to acute pancreatitis. Please see a therapeutic endoscopist, someone who can remove the stones by ERCP, or a hepatobiliary surgeon.
