Specializes in General Surgery

See a liver surgeon: If a therapeutic endoscopist (specialty trained gastroenterologist in endoscopy) cannot remove the cystic duct stone (this can very difficult if the stone is lodged in the duct), then you should see a specialist in liver surgery, a hepatobiliary surgeon, who may need to take the remnant part of the cystic duct out and possibly clean out the common bile duct.
