Words waste of time: Your average 3yo is self centered, action focused & ignores what u say. As controversial as it may be to some, this is one of the few times i recommend physical punishment:purposeful infliction of pain, actions incurring danger( running out in the street)& willful destruction of objects.An immediate swat on the bottom & showing your "don't do it face" & place kid in time out. Words r worthless.
