Doctors, what is the difference between transthoracic echo and doppler echocardiogram.?

The same: Doppler is part of every transthoracic echo procedure. Whereas the non-doppler portion of the test outlines structures, doppler focuses on blood flow.

Husband had echocardiogram and report said sone regurgitation, otherwise normal echo. His EF was over 50%. It didn't give a specific exact percentage, which I thought they were suppose to. Is the regurgitation a concern? His doctor wasn't worried?
