See your doctor: Initial therapy is compression stockings, at least 20- 30 mm Hg pressure. See your doctor for a complete examination and recommendations.

Evaluation may help: Spider veins and varicose veins do worsen over time. If you have symptoms such as leg discomfort, swelling, restlessness or cramping, you may want to consider speaking with a vein specialist. Sometimes simple measures such as properly fitted compression stocking use and exercise are sufficient in alleviating symptoms. There are many options for treatment now if you chose to have them treated.

Vein Treatment: If you have a vein problem then you should see a vein specialist for a full venous evaluation including a complete history, physical exam and venous ultrasound. This will help to determine the problem and formulate a plan of treatment.
