Wanted to know if diabetic people really have greater chance of becoming blind?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Good question: I don't know the stats on this, but in general, Diabetics are known to have medical problems after many years that are related to diabetes. Most notable are the neuropathies we see. Blood flow to nerves can lead to many problems. Best way to avoid these problems is to follow a healthy way of eating and exercise.
