Yes,but: The itching is primarily due to a reaction to the glue like substance the adult lays eggs in at the anus. Simple cleaning with cold water and an application of a mild hydrocortizone cream can heal the skin and stop the itch. Many docs routinely treat again in a week anyway.

Repeat mebendazol: You can take repeat Mebendazole if your stool examination shows pinworms present .You had500 mg dose which should be enough to kill the pinworms .The anal itching may be skin reaction due to scratching in this area before treatment. Watch your anal itching it may go away if not then see your doctor for more treatment
