A member asked:

There is a cyst in my father's kidney. should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Kidney cyst: Ask your father's physician (P) if your father's cyst is simple. Simple kidney cysts are often detected during an imaging test being done for another condition. Those that don't cause signs or symptoms usually don't require treatment are are not troublesome. Your father's P would know the answer better than a P unfamiliar with the type of cyst your father has. Good luck.
