Skin tags: skin tags don't occur over night, nor do cancers. See a dermatologist to evaluate your skin tag and have it removed. Good luck from NYC.

BIOPSY AND NO: Melanoma does not occur overnight; you just didn't notice it before now. Talk to your doctor about the need for a biopsy. If he/she says it's not necessary, but you really want one, they will usually follow your wishes. I would, personally.
