I have been unable to lose weight even though i have increased my activity and eating healthier. i had labs with high hs-crp, fibrinogen, insulin. and a few other symptoms. what should i do next?

Several things.: first, check there is not another condition. Thyroid disease very rare; PCOS, more common and can make weight loss hard. Then... diet diary to record Every Single Bite. Then, a negative approach (here's where the problem is, here's a change in it) rather than a particular diet to follow generally is more effective. Note: 4000 cal = 1 pound. exercise alone is not many calories.

Losing weight: Losing weight and getting in shape is not as easy as it might seem. For example, one pound of body fat contains about 3500 calories- so alot of exercise is needed to make a dent in that one pound. Muscle mass might actually increase because of the exercise, so the scale may be unkind. A better gauge is how u feel.
