Platelet count 450, fibrinogen 800, crp 45, esr 80. on 6th week tb treatment.worried about these high counts, especially fibrinogen. what to do?

TB: Fibrinogen levels increase under stimulation of the liver, usually by the presence of fibrin degradation products, but sometimes due to liver damage. The ESR and CRP are non-specific indicators of an inflammatory process and this might be the TB, the medications (INH particularly) or something else going on. Go back and see the doctor who is treating you. Best wishes.

You've got TB: That is what you should expect. I'm glad this was picked up. You're a person, not a bunch of numbers. I am myself another success story of TB treatment, and I wish you the very best.

May be expected.: The tests you listed: platelet count, fibrinogen, CRP and ESR are all makers of inflammation. Which may be expected to be elevated in active infections, or inflammatory disorders.
