A member asked:

My hs-crp results are: 15.06mg/l high (should be below 1). what must i do? am i about to have a heart attack?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, if you have any reason for inflammation the result is not valid and you need to repeat when the inflammation subsides. Wish you good health!
