No unfortunately: Tamsulosin is probably one of the nicest drugs for bph. Since it has a very direct action to the blood vessels in the prostate it has fewer side effects, and similar efficacy. Some alternatives you can try are isoflavones (trinovin) or saw palmetto. Some people find them effective, but they have a lot of side effects and drug interactions. Certainly recommend discussing options with a physician.
