Stress: Stress can produce a variety of symptoms. Muscle tension is very common if you are aware of experiencing stress in your life. If you also notice that when you are relaxed, your stomach muscles also relax it is most likely stress. Exercise and breathing exercises can help reduce tension but is also important to address the source of the stress.
