Unreasonable.: Fear is unfounded. Risk of heart disease within next 10 years is extremely low. Risk of dying or being injured from accidents, alcohol, or recreational activities is far greater. Reasons for misperception of risk are complex and should be explored with someone who can help you work through it. Regular exercise reduces risk, but since initial risk is very low there will be little net benefit.
