About 8: Definitely don't spend more than eight hours in the bed at night and if you cannot sleep leave the bedroom. Don't sleep during the day since you have insomnia at night. It sounds like your circaidian rhythm needs to be reorganized so keep a set wake time i.e. 7AM and try to sleep at 11PM but if you are not sleepy then just go to bed when you are sleepy. Eventually you will build a a sleep drive.
