Nightmares: Nightmares may be caused by certain medications, anxiety or mood disorders. Since these nightmares are only a recent development, I would avoid eating late in the evening, avoid alcohol or caffeine. If you feel you are under a lot of stress and nightmares continue, stress management therapy or consulting a specialist in sleep disorders would be helpful.

Nightmares: What do you do a few hours prior to sleep? Please avoid screens such as phone and computer at least one hour prior. Fill you mind w/interesting and relaxing images by reading. Avoid stimulants after noon. See clinical psychologist if nightmares continue. Peace and good health.
