Taking B12 or...: High B12 is harmless as it's not toxic; the most common cause is taking B12 & since you're taking it that's probably why it's high.. However, high B12 in someone who isn't taking it can be a sign of serious problems like liver or kidney disease or myelproliferative disorders. High B12 does not cause these but caused by them.
