Vit D and teeth: Vitamin D and other nutrients are important in the development of teeth. However, once the teeth are fully formed and erupted, there is no interaction and therefore no benefit to the enamel covering on teeth. Waste of money: Although vitamin D is essential for forming teeth, once your teeth are fully formed your intake of Vitamin D will pass right through and be excreted. Want healthy teeth? Floss daily, brush twice daily, use a fluoridated toothpaste, see your Dentist twice a year. Forget the pills, politics, homeopathic, rinses, and snake oil.
