A member asked:

Can low vitamin d cause teeth enamel to be weaker and wear away easily?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: The enamel of your permanent teeth was fully formed before they ever erupted. Acids, sugars, starches, eating disorders, pernicious habits, excessive wear from untreated malocclusion, biting hard foods, can all damage enamel. If you have wear or fracture problems, see your Dentist for an evaluation.
