Genetics: The eruption of primary teeth varies widely from child to child. There is nothing you can do to speed up or slow down the process.

Tooth eruption...: ...is guided by genetics. As long ads your child is well nourished, there's no pill, potion, or police that will alter your child's individual eruption pattern. Although 6 months is average time for eruption of 1st baby tooth, I've seen some children born with an erupting tooth, others with no teeth until 18 months.
