Treatment plan: What is the treatment plan of your dentist and periodontist? What type of prosthesis do you have in that area now, fixed or removable? It would be wise to discuss your treatment plan with your treating dentist and periodontist. I'm sure they have something planned.

Never : Today, in most cases with modern technology you always have a temporary replacement after the surgery. .During the waiting period, temporary bridges or partial dentures are used to replace any missing teeth. You never have to walk around with a missing tooth showing. Usually a permanent crown can be placed in three months or less. Good choice!
