Best solution: Plenty of options exist to resolve your problem. The best solution is a team approach, orthodontist, oral surgeon and restorative dentist. The orthodontist can correct the overbite so that your front teeth can have a better bite. Then experienced oral surgeon. The last step is well versed in functional jaw orthopedics to restore implants. If properly cared for dental implants can last a lifetime

Multidisciplinary Rx: Best solution is for your Restorative Dentist, an Orthodontic Specialist, and if needed an Oral Surgeon and/or a Periodontist team up, arrive at a comprehensive treatment plan, and work together to provide you with the best result. If tooth movement would provide the best platform on which to do restorative treatment, then move teeth before placing implants.
