Very unlikely: Hypervitaminosis A usually occurs through consumption of excess Vitamin A supplements. Vitamin A overdose can cause orange skin, blurred vision and nausea. Vitamin A toxicity can cause more severe symptoms such as growth retardation, hair loss and enlarged spleen and liver and can be fatal. You would have to eat enough carrots so that you die of starvation from inadequate nutrition first.

Impossible,no but...: It is impossible to get Vit A toxicity from too many carrots because carrots have NO Vit A, only beta carotene that our bodies convert to A as needed. Too many carrots can make one's skin turn yellow-orange. This is commonly thought to be due to deposits of carotenoids in the skin but for a different perspective see http://bit.ly/U3TFoZ For more on the benefits of carrots see http://bit.ly/1jI5iGF
