DO NOT DO THIS: on your own. Alprazolam withdrawal is notorious for producing VERY severe symptoms, including seizures (which can be multiple and life-threatening), very elevated blood pressure and pulse which can stress a heart with pre-existing problems, and delirium tremens (DTs). www.asam.org or www.aaap.org can give you name of an addiction physician in your area. Get medical help for stopping.
