Leg pain and weaknes: Spinal stenosis is generally a slowly progressive chronic condition associated with difficulty walking distances, standing for prolonged periods, and an almost absolute need to sit when the symptoms reach an intolerable point. Symptoms are gradually progressive over months usually. Classic findings are the need to stoop over a shopping cart while shopping and constantly looking for a place to sit.
