NO: If you have an oxycodone habit - are physically dependent on the - and you take a Suboxone, you will experience withdrawal, which can be severe. If you are not, the Suboxone will pretty much completely block the effect of the oxycodone. If Suboxone is prescribed to you, your prescriber needs to educate you. If you are taking these without prescription, get some help with your drug problem.

I am currently on subutex. 4mg, recently had my gallbladder removed, its been about 12 hours since last time I took subutex. Can I take hydrocodone or oxycodone for the pain? Or will the the subutex still block it?
I've been on subutex 8 mg 3x daily for 7 years now and I have to have a vigorous surgery in my sinuses and to my gums yet the surgeon is only saying he will write oxycodone 7.5/500 for after surgery.
I am experiencing shoulder, back, neck pain(severity: severe) (side: both), also headaches, results of 2 car accidents. I have fibro, carpal tunnel, & scoliosis. Is Subutex better for me than narcotics(oxycodone, etc..)?? I'm allergic to naloxone.
