Yes, But.: Subutex was initially designed as a medication to treat narcotic addiction. It does this by strongly binding with the narcotic receptors so other narcotics really don't work. If one is not managing your pain i would suggest talking to a pain specialist about other medications that can be used.

No: Subutex and oxycodone should not be taken together. Taking them together will cause withdrawal symptoms.
