You can't.: Most up-to-date dentists use digital pictures of teeth, that cup abuse much less exposure to radiation, and are permanently stored on the computer. They are accessible any time to the dentist, or dental assistant, or hygienest; and very importantly can be transmitted to any other specialist, person, including you, that you authorize.

Impossible: Root canal morphology can vary to infinite degrees in different teeth and people...Dentists are trained to know the basic morphology of certain teeth, and then how to read radiographs of specific teeth. But actual root canal morphology is not known for sure until the actual tooth is opened and the root canal system explored/cleaned/filled.
