Keep an eye on it: It may take some time for diverticulitis to resolve. But keep an eye on your symptoms. One potential complication is formation of an abscess which may not respond to your normal supportive care. So continue what you are doing but if you get worse pain, fevers, severe fatigue, etc then you need to be seen and reevaluated.

Is diagnosis correct: I have taken care of patients with diverticulitis in their 30's but is uncommon. Was diagnosis made with CT scan? The usual protocol is to confirm diagnosis with CT if not pregnant and treat with appropriate antibiotics and low residue diet. If no improvement either change oral antibiotics or go into hospital for IV antibiotics and gut rest. Repeat scan 10-14 days if still no improvement
