Diverticulosis: Diverticulitis is irritation and inflammation of small pouches within the large bowel wall. Eating a high fiber diet, low fat diet and exercising regularly may avoid it. There is no evidence that nuts, seeds, berries and popcorn get trapped in the pouches to cause or worsen things. Juicing raw vegetables and fruits provides fiber and preserves micronutrients that are lost by cooking.

Raw vegetables: Are okay to eat. Provided they are thoroughly cleansed and have no pesticide residues and well tolerated.
