why is neuropathy pain and symptoms worse at night and during rest?

1 doctor answer
Dr. William Lages
68 years experience Rheumatology
Lack of stimuli: At night and during rest many people feel more pain whatever the origin. This is felt to be due to lack of the many stimuli during the day that compete for attention and distract from some of the Pain stimuli.
