A member asked:

Can heat from outside make peripheral neuropathy symptoms worse? also, can pn become debilitating?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and yes.: Peripheral neuropathy can be aggravated by anything that stimulates the peripheral nervous system including pressure, temperature, vibration and touch. At its worst, i've seen debilitating pain. But there are treatments, so see your doctor.
