Specializes in Interventional Radiology

Treatments available: Case should be discussed on a multi-specialty tumor board. Inoperable liver metastasis may be treated with chemotherapy, radiofrequency ablation, & Radioembolization (performed by Interventional Radiology). Radioembolization combined with chemo has shown to slow progression for colon cancer when disease has progressed following prior treatment with chemotherapy & metastases limited to the liver.
